I believe in both. Unicorns are mentioned multiple times throughout the Bible (9 to be exact). Thus, they are real.
Here are a few.
Deuteronomy 33:17: His glory is like the firstling of his bullock, and his horns are like the horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh.
What I love about this quote is that I can remember a time, sadly, when I would've been bothered by this. I'm glad I haven't been in that mindset for a long time.
What I'm glad I've realized is that my life is so much happier and more calm when I'm NOT concerning myself with other people's beliefs, especially when those beliefs are not damaging any person or thing. My life is my own, my beliefs the same, if I deserve that everyone does.
I hope no one sees this as a comparison, I don't think it is; it's an expression of ideas, those ideas being freedom, balance, and perspective.
