"Intruder"

And it is quite poor and with Cotton Lady now appears to mirror an evil opponent to make things even more difficult.

This is the first of these strips that I have seen so my thoughts are based on that. I love the art (particularly the colors) and the joke is written and delivered well. However, your wordbubbles take away from that. The borders are really heavy and pull your eyes away from the fantastic art and your font is basic and flat.

Perhaps experiment with different methods of creating the wordbubbles, such as drawing them in by hand--easier than it sounds with Photoshop and a tablet if you use one--after aranging the layout of the dialogue? I know there are several programs that have built-in bubbles and I believe there are stock bubbles available that you could resize if necessary. Or simply try taking the border's thickness down a pixel or two; if you use Stroke to make the borders this would be really easy. As to the font, there are thousands of free fonts available online and I think this strip would benefit from a font that has a bit more personality in it. Perhaps something with a bit of texture and not so clean; this could play up the fact that your characters are animals.

Beyond that, though, it really is an exceptional strip and I will likely read the rest and any subsequent posts. Keep up the good work!
