Hola gente!!
hoy vengo algo indignada, todos sabemos de sobra que hay gente que maltrata animales y que llega a hacer autenticas barbaridades con ellos, pero quiero hablar de algo mas comun: el maltrato domestico a animales.
Partimos de mi firme pensamiento en que algunas personas no deberian poseer la vida de un animal bajo sus garras, y ese es el caso de mis vecinos.
Ellos tienen una gata y yo en mi casa tengo 2 (una mia y la otra de mi novio), y con el tiempo he observado como se han criado estas gatas y como responden a los humanos en consecuencia. Me explico:
Las nuestras se han criado con cariño, con mimos y juegos, mi novio y yo les hacemos caso cada vez que pasamos por el salon (muchas veces al dia) y para reñirlas no hace falta mas que levantar un poco la voz, un simple "ey!" para que no se acerquen a donde no queremos y siempre estamos atentos a donde pisamos para no hacerles daño, porque si teneis gatos sabreis que tienen la mania de poner el rabo muy cerca de nuestros pies y es facil tener un accidente.
En cambio, la de mis vecinos siempre ha sido tratada como una bestia. Nunca le han hecho mimos (para que? si no es mas que un animal, no?), rara vez la tienen en casa con ellos para prestarle atencion, la dejan en el patio y le cierran la puerta todo el dia, si hace algo que a ellos no les interesa le gritan muchisimo y le ordenan que vaya a donde ellos estan como si les entendiera, y por supuesto si no obedece les falta tiempo para ponerle la mano encima.
Ellos son personas mayores de pueblo y tienen metido en la cabeza que eso debe ser asi, que los animales deben ser maltratados con o sin motivo. Tal vez lo no hacen con maldad, simplemente es como los han criado, pero por que ese tipo de persona puede tener animales en casa? son un peligro para ellos y a nadie le importa, pero si hablamos de darle un bebe humano a una persona no apta enseguida nos escandalizamos.
En serio me parece que en los tiempos que vivimos hace mucha falta cambiar esto ya, porque esto me lleva al siguiente punto: como responden estas gatas a la gente:
la mia siempre ha sido asustadiza y cuando ve a alguien nuevo se esconde hasta que coge confianza, la de mi novio siempre suele ir corriendo a que la acaricien, pero la de mis vecinos casi siempre opta por bufar, y a veces se nos ha echado encima para arañarnos en el rellano. No solo es un peligro para ella que la traten a palos porque le duele, sino porque tanta agresividad se refleja en ella siendo igual con todo lo que se mueve. Imaginaos intentando ir a clase por la mañana o a trabajar por la tarde y no poder llegar a las escaleras porque teneis una gata agresiva delante, y ahora imaginad que no sois vosotros sino ese familiar bruto que todos tenemos, que le puede dar una patada al pobre animal o algo peor.
Los animales necesitan y merecen cariño, a estas alturas creo que no hace falta señalar que tienen sistema nervioso por lo que sienten dolor fisico y que si los tratamos mal se vuelven agresivos.
