Core? (updated)

Hey guys!
I just noticed it says "Core" next to my DA name, and I don't know what's that. Also it seems the DA status of every user suddenly changed, now they are different orange stars inside a circle.
What's all that, and what does it means? thank you

Okay guys, first thank you all for giving me the information about this Core thing.
Second I agree it's annoying, $50 for a premium membership is extreme, when $30 was already expensive as fuck!
gave me this link, it's a petition to stop this and bring back the old premium membership system. There's only about 400 sigs left to get it, so we are close to get it, collaborate if you want to change this, please.
